Our paint protection film patterns are designed and cut exactly to match your vehicles contours and curves. With the ability to cut our own kits, we can help reduce the time you wait to have your car protected. Rose Detailing uses patterns designed and created by X-Pel. X-Pel is considered to be the leading design house and comes out with new patterns on a daily basis. Our installers have all received training at X-Pel's San Antonio facilities and are certified by X-Pel Typically, there are several "Kits" designed for each car. Kits normally includes covering the hood, fenders, and mirrors. Bumper kits and grill kits can also be installed. Other applications includes rocker panels, rear bumpers, wheel well openings and the outside edges of doors. Pricing varies depending on how much film is used and the difficulty of installation. Vinyl bras and bug shields change the appearance of your vehicle and often damage paint.

Q: How much does it cost?

A: Pricing is based on the amount of film used. Pricing is best determined by calling in for a quote.

A. A typical installation takes about 4 hours. More complicated jobs, like complete hoods, are usually kept overnight.

Q: Can you see the film on the car?

A: Generally when you first get your car back there will be some moisture under the film that needs to dry out. This will take a few days and the true clarity of the film will be evident . Our ultimate film is the clearest that we can find but if you look closely you will see the edge of the film. This is easiest to see on a partial hood. When we cover the entire hood and fenders all of the edges are wrapped and the film is nearly undetectable. The color of your paint makes a difference in how much the film can be seen. Neutral colors such as tans and silver hide the film the best and colors with a lot of metallic flake help.

Q: Can it be removed?

A: Yes. Xpel has engineered the adhesives in the paint protection film to be removed by heating up and slowly peeling the film off. Once removed it cannot be reused.

Q: What is the warranty?

A: Xpel Ultimate film has one of the best warranties of any film. There is a 10 year warranty against yellowing, cracking, staining, and peeling off.

Q: How do I take care of it?

A: Just like the paint on your car, the better you take care of your film the better it will look. Film should not be allowed to remain dirty for long periods. Clean your car often. A bottle of Xpel's sealant is provided for free when we install your film. This sealant is easy to apply. Just wipe it on and wipe it back off before it dries. This sealant will help keep the clarity of your film.

Q: I can't find a pattern for my vehicle. Can it still be protected?

A:Probably. We try to have a digital pattern for every vehicle but some very rare cars or older cars do not have patterns. Email a picture of the car or call in to talk to an installer about a custom install.
